Good morning Tim! This post really resonated with me today because I had been thinking of a similar situation, a time in my life when someone’s presence made a hard thing easier. When I was pregnant with my second child, I felt nauseous all the time but was never actually sick. I remember kneeling in front of the toilet wishing that I could be sick; I thought maybe that would make me feel better. On one of these occasions, my precious 2-year-old son saw my misery, came and stood beside me, placed his hand on my shoulder and said, “It’s gonna be okay, mom. It’s gonna be okay.” What a blessing it is to have someone come alongside, even the very young! Maureen
