  1. Thank you so much for all the support, Tim. You make me want to go back into the Trinitarian arguments and debates of the first few centuries of the Christian Era. I used to love that historical research! Now, alas, I do not have much time for reading and research of that sort, with responsibiility for pastoral care for a congregation amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

And, thank God I do not have to put up with this wrong-headed, misogynistic treatment of me as an ordained woman, appointed as minister to a UCC congregation in the Chicago suburbs. (At least, not very often.)
    Blessings on your week!

  2. thank you for your perspective in this very important issue that has divided the church…you are the first i have come across to actually call it sin—ironic in that those who think patriarchy is god’s design have been loudly and vehemently calling those who do not agree with pat as sinners and out of the will of god and even demonic.

Keep telling the truth, Tim! Patriarchy is sin, and leads to abuse. Plain and simple. ESS is heresy, and those who are teaching it are trying desperately to use their false teaching as a way to keep their power and keep women subordinate, because they want to be served and counted as “Lord”. We have ONE Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who came to save both women and men, and to give them an abundant life.
