‪I’ll Tell You About My Black Eye, but What About People Bruised on the Inside?‬

Bruised and scarred on the inside? The Spirit of Christ is in you, too, and if there’s anyone who knows about bearing bruises and scars it’s Jesus.

My name is Yandy, I recently left my church due to the fact that my ex pastor preached a false gospel. I know you teach the truth based on your writings. My one question is my ex pastor said that the Holy Spirit convicts me of not trusting Jesus even though I’m a believer and I do trust Jesus. He says that when I sin the Holy Spirit will convict me of not trusting Jesus. He’s not talking about salvation trust but still some form of other trust though but he’s saying when I sin the Holy Spirit convicts me of not trusting Jesus . Please tell me that’s not true, right? I read your writing on The HolySpirit never convicts so I trust you on this. The Holy Spirit doesn’t convict me of not trusting Jesus when I sin, right? Thank you pastor, this has be really down, I’m looking forward to hearing the truth from you. I have severe religious ocd. Please help .

I’m not a pastor but I do know that God looks on you with love always. Struggling against sin isn’t an indication of lack of trust. It’s an indication that God loves you so much that he won’t leave you in your sin.
