‪More Scars Than I Bargained For: a metaphor of life‬

James said not to get wedded to the plans you make. (James 4:13-17.) That’s a good reminder for life in a pandemic.

I was thinking/praying for you yesterday as I went in to the doctor to find out what the little lump on my ankle was about (the photos I sent just weren’t enough). Thankfully, it was just a cyst that often occurs in “older” people (I’m all of 62), and they don’t usually get big or cause a problem. Since I’ve lost a couple friends to cancer recently, I was concerned, but I also knew God was in charge. He is always good, and it’s important for me to remember that.

    Have a speedy recovery, Tim!

Really liked your point about changes to plans and facing the unexpected with God. It sums up our week, too.

  3. Jennifer Grant says:

Wishing you speedy healing (and hope the other bit turns out to be nothing)!
Glad you are keeping your attitude so clear and positive. 🙂
