What You Can Accomplish with a Little Kindness

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:1-2.)

When has a small act of kindness meant much to you?

How can you be kind for someone today?

  1. One of my main avenues for showing kindness is to my students. Just replying respectfully to their questions, reassuring them if they’re frustrated or overwhelmed, treating them as I’d want to be treated — I won’t meet most of these people, but I do truly think this is an area of ministry for me and I try to remember that in my interactions with them.

You know, I like that Hebrews passage — but treating strangers well is worth doing simply because they are human beings, not just because they might be angels in disguise.
