Be Gentle and Kind, Not Clever


Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. (Philippians 4:5.)

I need to remember that. Especially in this season, I need to remember.

  2. A great quote, Tim; thanks for sharing it. Cleverness tries to impress, but kindness is always on the lookout for the well-being of the other person. We do need more of that nowadays.

      Cleverness tries to impress – that’s a great insight, Jeannie. If the effort is to impress anyone with anything other than the love of God, it’s out of line.
